4.3: Lifelong learning opportunities

KAU has been always striving to provide Lifelong Learning Opportunities for every Saudi citizen in different aspects like defining the necessary policies to avail education to everyone, availing free access to its vast educational resources for those not studying at KAU, hosting different types of events at university that are open to the community, as well as organizing educational outreach activities in local schools, in the community.

To enhance lifelong learning opportunities, KAU is providing efforts to:

1. provide access to various types of educational resources for its students and faculty, as well as for those who are not studying at the university.

2. dedicate huge efforts to support the public community through different types of educational lectures, activities and events that would raise the community awareness and information. 

3. establish various deanships, centers and units, that have been providing efforts to support quality education of the public community through different “ad-hoc” and “programmed” public lectures and community educational events.

4. dedicate huge efforts to support the Saudi society through different types of Executive Education Programs, capacity-building for business & government lectures and activities, as well as vocational trainings that would raise the awareness and competencies of the government, public and private sectors.
