Mobile dental clinics continue to provide their treatment and awareness services uring the year (2024)
Dental Mobile Clinics at the Faculty of Dentistry and the University Dental Hospital, King Abdulaziz University, are one of the leading community projects in providing advisory, treatment, and awareness services related to oral and dental health. The mobile clinics aim to reach different segments of society and conduct community-based awareness campaigns through medical staff who reach patients at their locations, thereby facilitating access to treatment services and raising awareness of oral and dental care in the community.
Dental Mobile Clinics provide the necessary medical and awareness services through initial examination and diagnosis of patients, providing treatment for certain cases and dispensing the necessary medications in record time, in addition to collecting information about the prevailing oral and dental diseases and forming a database for field and applied studies that contribute to the oral health of the community.
Mobile clinics achieve high speed of achievement through the mobilization of qualified medical staff and modern developments in their work, which is in line with the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030 by enhancing the quality of life and providing logistical services to all members of society. The mobile clinics service contributes to addressing the problems of the community and promoting the concept of primary health care among members of the local community, especially residential neighborhoods and remote villages in different regions, and reducing the pressure on private health facilities for the treatment of oral and dental diseases, and in a way that ensures the achievement of the strategic plans of King Abdulaziz University and the Faculty of Dentistry and the University Dental Hospital.
