King Abdulaziz University is committed to implementing a comprehensive health and well-being policy that ensures a safe and supportive learning and working environment for all students, faculty, and staff. The University adopts an integrated framework of procedures and practices designed to identify and mitigate potential risks, while enhancing the overall quality of life on campus by promoting healthy lifestyles within the university community.
In alignment with its role in enhancing impactful health practices, the University implements a range of initiatives and programs, including:
Providing sexual and reproductive health services and infectious disease prevention, in addition to offering preventive and therapeutic services for various public health concerns.
Ensuring equitable and affordable access to healthcare services on campus for students, faculty members, and staff.
Implementing mental health and well-being programs aimed at reducing the incidence of non-communicable diseases and promoting psychological well-being.
Organizing and delivering scheduled and non-scheduled health projects and activities to raise awareness within the local community and contribute to its overall well-being.
Enforcing strict no-smoking policies across all university facilities to maintain a healthy environment.
Applying clear and safe procedures for handling hazardous substances in line with best practices for health and safety.
