King Abdulaziz University continuously contributes to local arts, through ad-hoc and ongoing programmes, like public performances of university theatre groups, students' clubs, and public clubs.

On 13-09-2020, KAU's President, Prof. Abdul Rahman bin Obaid Al Youbi, sponsored the signing ceremony of two joint cooperation agreements between the Deanship of Library Affairs at the university, and the "Saudi Arab Society for Culture and Arts in Jeddah", represented by Mr. Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Sobeih, and another with the Batterjee Medical College in Jeddah, represented by the Dean of the College, Dr. Osama bin Adnan Kansara.
The President of the University explained that these agreements establish the important role played by the University as part of its social responsibilities.
For his part, the Dean of Library Affairs indicated that the signing of an agreement between the Deanship of Library Affairs and the Saudi Arab Society for Culture and Arts in Jeddah, aims to frame the cultural aspects by offering various cultural programs between it and the University in various fields of heritage and art, as well as in art, calligraphy and other fields.
