KAU organizes and sponsors trainings and programmes to improve access to basic services for everyone.
On 26-4-2021, the "General Administration of Social Responsibility" and the "College of Arts & Humanities" at KAU, launched the humanitarian program "Eid Clothing", to avail access to clothing for ALL.
On 22-8-2021, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Obaid Al Youbi, opened the new university student housing complex in the Rabigh branch, and the (Covid-19) Vaccine Center was launched in the Rabigh branch to provide its services and give the new Corona virus vaccines to the university’s employees, students, and members of the community, in order to activate the university’s role in serving the university and the Rabigh community with a capacity of 1,000 appointments per day.
The residential complex contains an additional building comprising 24 residential rooms accommodating 50 students, all equipped with service centers, sports facilities and student clubs, in addition to housing and security supervision around the clock.
On Saturday 7-11-2021, King Abdulaziz University students distributed food baskets to families with limited incomes in the city of Jeddah.
This initiative is part of the "Messengers of Peace project" for community service and development.
