King Abdulaziz University, through the Faculty of Marine Sciences, the Faculty of Maritime Studies, and the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, in collaboration with the Water Research Center, plays a leading role in protecting marine and aquatic environments by integrating education, scientific research, and field applications. The university offers four specialized academic programs in Marine Biology, Marine Chemistry, Marine Geology, and Marine Physics at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These programs aim to prepare highly qualified professionals capable of understanding aquatic ecosystem dynamics and ensuring the sustainable management and protection of marine resources. The study plans include a wide range of courses dedicated to marine ecosystem conservation and the sustainability of aquatic resources.
