There is additional representation for students at both the college and department levels. For example, advisory committees for colleges/departments must include active student members as well as alumni, in accordance with the policy for advisory committees of colleges and institutes

On February 20, 2024, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry chaired the meeting of the Advisory Committee for postgraduate students at the Faculty of Dentistry. The meeting was attended by the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies, the Vice Deans for Educational Affairs, and the Director of the Graduate Studies Unit. The participants discussed development proposals aimed at improving the quality of the educational process. (link)

Entrepreneurship Club at the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, King Abdulaziz University:
The Entrepreneurship Club at the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology was established with the aim of raising awareness among students to become creative entrepreneurs and promoting the principles of entrepreneurship. This is achieved by providing information, knowledge, and connections related to entrepreneurship, as well as creating an entrepreneurial environment that supports them.
On November 10, 2024, the Entrepreneurship Club at King Abdulaziz University won the first-place award for being the most impactful entrepreneurship club in the Kingdom, as announced by Monsha’at during the events of Bibaan 24 Forum.
King Abdulaziz University students participate in the Saudi Universities Sports Federation, which aims to sponsor, support, and develop university sports and raise their level through a sports community that encourages the application of sportsmanship and emphasizes the importance of practicing and promoting physical activity among university students. The Federation also sets regulations and policies to organize activities and represents and coordinates the positions and opinions of Saudi universities in local, regional, and international sports events.
On September 30, 2024, His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, honored King Abdulaziz University for achieving the third-place award in the male students’ category, among the universities recognized in the performance index for the 14th sports season, during a ceremony organized by the Saudi Universities Sports Federation at the Ministry of Education headquarters in Riyadh.
The university also received the third-place award in the female students’ category, among the universities recognized in the performance index for the 14th sports season, continuing its record of outstanding achievements.
Among the most prominent championships in which King Abdulaziz University participated within the Saudi Universities Sports Federation are the following:
On March 9, 2024, the King Abdulaziz University team won the Goalball Championship for People with Disabilities, organized by the Saudi Universities Sports Federation.
On March 17, 2024, the King Abdulaziz University men’s volleyball team achieved second place in the Volleyball Championship for male students, organized by the Saudi Universities Sports Federation.
