16.3: Working with Government
Macro sovereignty is the backbone of organizations, including universities. And planning is an effective tool that guides organizations towards achieving their goals carefully, comprehensively and sustainably. Education is considered the most important life structure in which all age groups of society are established and grow, so that the education of the people of the country is continuous throughout life. University education touches the youth stage, which is the essential age of peoples. In the university, education is mastered to highlight the student’s multiple competencies, and his/her qualification is formulated to participate in the university and educational systems, and in social entities through leading and promising jobs, and towards building the society through the public and private sectors, all the way towards the future of the Kingdom's 2030 vision. KAU celebrated its 50th anniversary, in which it integrated the infrastructure and the dependable university environment, in accordance with the obligations of the nine national five-year plans. Thus, KAU will not only achieve the leadership of the national university education towards its goals, but also always participate in the nation, its willingness and orientation towards building the future of the Kingdom.
