King Abdulaziz University plays a significant role in advancing Saudi society by building a knowledge-based economy. The university is steadily progressing towards achieving its goals in education and contributing to the creation of a vibrant community, offering education that is capable of preparing qualified Saudi workforce suited to the local labor market.
The university has affirmed its commitment to fulfilling the aspirations of stakeholders through its fourth strategic plan (Tamhuh). Stakeholders were one of the key foundations upon which the strategic plan was developed. This was done by organizing a series of workshops with representatives from stakeholders both within and outside the university to identify their key aspirations, which were then incorporated into the plan.
The stakeholders were identified in the first axis of the strategic plan, which includes (students, parents, faculty members, and the community). The plan outlines the role of each axis in achieving the stakeholders' aspirations.
