Initiative to clean beaches and plant mangrove trees on Shbab Island to enhance coastal ecological balance.
Under the sponsorship of the Office of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in Jeddah Governorate and the National Center for Vegetation Development and Combating Desertification in the Makkah Region, students from the College of Marine Sciences participated in the initiative to clean beaches and plant mangrove trees on Shbab Island as part of the #Arab_Environment_Day (2024) activities.
