KAU monitors the health of aquatic ecosystems through its related practices.
The Water Research Center plays a research role by conducting hydrological and hydrogeological studies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Environmental systems are monitored through the relevant authorities such as the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and its affiliated environmental centers.
World Wetlands Day:
In celebration of World Wetlands Day, the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture organized an environmental event aimed at raising awareness about the importance of these vital ecosystems, with a focus on planting mangrove trees. More than 80 students from the College of Marine Sciences participated in this event.
