King Abdulaziz University participates in water and wastewater research through the Water Research Center, which focuses on sustainable water resource management, as well as the Department of Hydrogeology and the Department of Water Resources in the Faculty of Earth Sciences and the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, respectively. These departments are dedicated to studying various water sources and developing sustainable solutions for them. In addition, the General Administration of Operations and Maintenance is responsible for operating and maintaining the water and wastewater networks within the university campus.
