Definition:

• This indicator is important to prove that the university is recycling treated wastewater for beneficial purposes, such as agricultural and landscape irrigation, industrial processes, toilet flushing, and groundwater replenishing. Recycled/reused water can include wastewater from sinks, showers, dish washers, washing machines that is reused at least one time.

KAU is recycling water consumed on campus for different re-uses like landscape irrigation, toilet flushing and other usages. KAU recycles a significant 92% of its water usage.
