"Anti-Smoking Policy at King Abdulaziz University"
King Abdulaziz University affirms its commitment to the safety of its members and its dedication to providing a healthy and secure campus environment, through the implementation of an official anti-smoking policy within the university. This policy prohibits smoking in all buildings and facilities, while designating limited and confined areas for smokers, to ensure the protection of all members of the university community from the direct and indirect effects of smoking.

The university also emphasizes its stance against smoking on campus by imposing penalties to deter this behavior, which are detailed in the "University Student Regulation – Rights and Responsibilities."
On June 6, 2023, King Abdulaziz University inaugurated a Smoking Cessation Consultation Clinic at the university hospital, dedicating its resources and qualified personnel to provide behavioral and pharmacological support for those wishing to quit smoking. (link)
On May 30, 2024, under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at King Abdulaziz University, an event was held to mark World No Tobacco Day, organized by the Health Education Unit in collaboration with the Respiratory Therapy Unit and with the participation of internal departments at the University Hospital.

On Monday, June 3, 2024, the Faculty of Dentistry and the University Dental Hospital at King Abdulaziz University organized an event titled "No to Smoking" on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day (link).
On June 9, 2024, on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, the University Medical Services Center at King Abdulaziz University launched an online campaign to raise awareness about the harms of smoking.(link)
