KAU provides free public access to different types of its buildings, monuments, theater, museums, as well as other landscapes of cultural significance to its local community, NGOs, public and private sectors.
N.B. This has been highly impacted by the Corona Virus Pandemic.
The below Objectives are set by the Museums administration, where it can be seen that access to museums is open to the public for the sake of achieving the needed objectives.
KAU provides public access to the community. The Folklore Club, for example, aims at protecting the Saudi ancestors’ heritage and promoting the spirit of patriotism.
The club conducts various public events like:
Organize courses in all folk arts.
Organize trips and field visits to the museums and archeological sites.
Offer programs and works that reflect the originality of the Saudi folk arts such as chants, folk festivals, and Mawal.
Organize a heritage gallery to display the heritage pieces of various kinds.
