10.6: measures against discrimination

King Abdulaziz University intensified its efforts to promote fairness and equality across the campus through a range of initiatives focused on supporting diversity and fostering an inclusive learning environment for all. These efforts included developing policies and practices that ensure equal opportunities for students and staff, expanding programs designed to support individuals from diverse backgrounds—including international students—and strengthening awareness of respect, inclusion, and anti-discrimination through campus activities and community-oriented campaigns. The University also continued embedding principles of equity within its strategic plans and developmental projects, with an emphasis on improving access to services, encouraging balanced participation, and empowering underrepresented groups. Together, these actions reflect a clear institutional direction toward cultivating an equitable and inclusive educational environment that provides everyone with fair opportunities for success.

The Saudi Labor Law explicitly prevents discrimination of any type. KAU applies the Labor Law and inherits it within its Professional Ethics Charter's rules and regulations.

KAU tracks applications and admissions of people from under-represented groups for the sake of providing the needed services and have a close follow-up on their wellbeing.

KAU organizes many programmes for the sake of encouraging and recruiting People with disabilities.

10.6.4: Anti-Discrimination & Anti-Harassment Policies

The Saudi Labor Law explicitly prevents discrimination and harassments of any type. KAU applies the Labor Law and inherits it within its Professional Ethics Charter's rules and regulations, and Academic Advising Student Handbook.

10.6.5: Governance Body of Reduced Inequalities' Implementation

KAU has an established center and committees that control the governance of the implementation of the policies that are related to Reduced Inequalities.
