“Our Blue Schools” Initiative – in collaboration with the Ministry of Education:
This initiative aims to educate the community about the importance of preserving the marine environment and to encourage positive habits and behaviors that support environmental protection.
Seaweed Utilization Initiative:The Faculty of Marine Sciences led this initiative by providing scientific content and practical training to students from Secondary School No. 110 on producing fertilizer from seaweed. Students gained hands-on experience in sustainable use of marine resources, enhancing their environmental awareness and encouraging creative solutions for environmental protection.

Directorate for winning the “Responsible Citizenship Award” and the “Seetathon Program.” The Faculty of Marine Sciences at King Abdulaziz University supported the students through scientific supervision and practical training, reflecting its commitment to community engagement and encouraging student participation in educational and environmental initiatives.
