King Abdulaziz University is committed to promoting decent work and economic growth, which is considered a part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. This vision aims to achieve economic and social transformation in the country. Accordingly, KAU upholds the Kingdom's regulations and laws to eliminate discrimination in wages between male and female workers, ensuring equal opportunities and justice for all employees. This commitment to equality has placed the university at the forefront of institutions that champion fairness and equity. Furthermore, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has created a unified platform (Masar) for all workers in government sectors.
Masar streamlines communication with the Ministry, enabling employees to submit grievances, apply for job promotions, and enroll in training programs.
It is noteworthy that, KAU aligns its efforts with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the Ministry of Education to champion policies and initiatives that empower women in leadership roles, expand employment opportunities, contribute to reducing unemployment rates, and foster workforce skill development. KAU wholeheartedly embraces these systems and motivates its employees to contribute to the achievement of the eighth goal of sustainable development, which advocates for inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all.
