In this context, On May 16, 2024, in an important step to strengthen academic cooperation, King Abdulaziz University received a delegation from the Armed Forces Command and Staff College. The visit included a tour of the University Education Development Center, the Curriculum Development Center, and the Deanship of Admission and Registration, where the delegation was briefed on the capabilities and various programs offered by these centers. On February 14, 2024, King Abdulaziz University, represented by the Faculty of Dentistry, and the General Directorate of Health Services at the Ministry of Defense signed a cooperation agreement in the field of specialized medical education and training. The agreement aims to meet the educational and training needs of the Directorate’s staff by allocating postgraduate program seats in dental specialties, in addition to enabling university staff to receive training at the healthcare facilities of the General Directorate of Health Services at the Ministry of Defense. On May 12, 2024, the University Education Development Center, in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Administration at King Abdulaziz University, organized a two-day workshop titled “Policy and Regulation Analysis Using the Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) Methodology.” The workshop discussed the role of the RIA methodology in developing the university’s new policies and regulations, with the aim of enhancing the legislative environment and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. On June 5, 2024, in collaboration with the Emirate of Makkah Region, King Abdulaziz University organized a workshop titled “Study of the Environmental Situation in Jeddah Governorate. “The workshop discussed topics such as air quality, environmental issues related to climate change, environmental health and its impacts on public health, environmental regulations and legislation, and the dengue fever prevention program. Experts from the university, the Environmental Compliance and Health Center, and Jeddah Health participated in the workshop to exchange expertise and engage in constructive discussions aimed at improving the environmental situation in Jeddah Governorate.
