These partnerships aim to support scientific research and practical applications in the field of marine ecosystem protection.
Among the most prominent partnerships in this field are:
1. Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture (MEWA) and King Abdulaziz University, which aims to unify efforts in protecting the marine environment, developing its resources, and enhancing joint scientific research that contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
2. The National Program for the Development of the Livestock and Fisheries Sector, one of MEWA’s key initiatives, which seeks to achieve the sustainable use of marine resources and aquatic food production through scientific collaboration with the University in the fields of research and development.
