Additionally, the university collaborates with government institutions, such as the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, to enhance strategies for water resource conservation and develop solutions that consider the environmental diversity in areas impacted by university activities.
Water Catchment Management Policy at King Abdulaziz University
King Abdulaziz University (KAU), represented by the General Administration of Operations and Maintenance and the General Administration of Facilities, has adopted a comprehensive Water Catchment Management Plan to effectively manage rainwater accumulation within the university campus.
This policy aims to ensure prevention, preparedness, and rapid response to water accumulation incidents, ensuring the safety of staff, students, and university property, and promoting environmental sustainability on campus.
