On Monday Year 1 had an amazing visit to the London Transport Museum and learned about so many different types of vehicle. Their behaviour was exemplary and we have received wonderful thank you letters about what great ambassadors they were for our school. Even adults in other visiting groups praised them. So well done Year 1!

Tuesday was Chinese New Year and it was wonderful to see three of our pupils leading worship for their Year 4 class, sharing their beautiful culture and traditions with their peers.

We were then treated to a wonderful visit from the Mini St Mikes children and their Chinese dragon. They paraded through the playground with the children of Middle Phase and Upper Phase cheering them on!

On Wednesday we held our Q & A (virtual) Coffee Afternoon for Middle and Upper Phase parents and as always I do hope you found this a helpful .

Yesterday Year 4 taught us all about "Healthy Eating" in their Year group assembly as part of their (Bottoms, Burps and Bile) topic and it was lovely to welcome their parents in to watch them. What a great lesson we learned - and with beautiful three part singing and amazing costumes too!

Today has been all about numbers. Thanks to the "NSPCC Maths Day" initiative we have seen some very creative sum and equation outfits cropping up around school- both from the children and the staff! See pictures below.... Thank you to Mrs Lee and Miss Fryer for organising this very inspiring day.

It is lovely to see more school trips springing up in the calendar after a year or so hiatus: Years 1 and 2 are visiting the Gudwara on Tuesday morning and then lucky Year 2 are off to the Wetlands Centre in Barnes on Thursday.

Our year 5 and 6 girls football team played at the Wandsworth School Games Tournament on Wednesday 2nd February 2022.

Next week we are releasing full details of the spring social. We are holding a Quiz Night on March 12 and a Promises auction alongside it. We will circulate a flyer with the comms on Sunday night but do start thinking about anything you can donate to the auction. With so many four legged friends joining our community over the last 2 years, dog walking is sure to be a hotly contested item!
