What a wonderful week it has been here at St Michael's!
In our worship sessions, we have been reflecting on our school motto, “Working together for the good of all.” Through the powerful imagery of a giant web, we have encouraged the children to see how each of us plays a vital role in keeping our school community strong. Just like the strands of a web, every connection matters. When we work together, support one another, and value each other’s contributions, we create something resilient and beautiful.
This message ties in beautifully with 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, which reminds us, “For just as the body is one and has many parts, and all the parts of that body, though many, are one body, so also is Christ.” Each of us is uniquely gifted and called to play our part, and together we can achieve so much more than we ever could alone.
It has been an exciting week of learning and exploration! Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the British Museum yesterday, diving into history and culture, while Year 4 had a fantastic day at the Science Museum, fueling their curiosity and love of discovery. We are also eagerly anticipating next week’s rescheduled trip to the Polka Theatre to experience the magic of The Nutcracker.
We are especially looking forward to the Year 4 Celebration of Learning assembly next Friday, where the children will proudly share their achievements and learning journey. We are looking forward to welcoming their parents to join us for this special occasion—it is always a joy to celebrate the children’s hard work and growth together.
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to nurture and inspire every child in our care.
Wishing you a restful and blessed weekend.
