- sign up to help either on the day or before

- let us know if you are baking

- support your year group hamper - ask your rep what they need

- buy your tokens and wristbands today please so we can start putting them in envelopes

- buy your raffle tickets either online or in cash

- return your raffle ticket stubs to school by Wednesday 19th

- relax and remember it is all about getting together as a community and having fun

The Field Team in particular do need some help so if you are reasonably fit and available please let Chris P know - details are on the sign up sheet available via the Fete homepage.

We have URGENT NEED of an additional DRIVER to collect pick-up truck on Thursday morning and be available Thursday evening, Friday and Saturday. If you can also lift heavy things then all the better but actually being able to drive and available is the key requirement. If you have children in the younger year groups all the better as this is a great way to see how the fete works for future years.

Year 5 Trip to The Shakespeare Globe Theatre:

Year 5 students had an exciting visit to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, where they participated in an interactive workshop designed to enhance their knowledge of Romeo and Juliet. In one of the rehearsal rooms, the students engaged in a variety of activities and games that highlighted the language, characters, and themes of Shakespeare’s most famous love story. 

Led by a highly experienced practitioner from the Globe, the workshop sparked fresh ideas and inspiration among the children. The students demonstrated fantastic behaviour throughout the visit, and special thanks go to the parents who volunteered to make the experience possible.

A Trip To The V & A:

What a lovely day the Year 6 remainers enjoyed yesterday, browsing so many international artefacts, sculptures, ceramics, weaponry, fashions, tapestries and much much more.

Meet The Author at Wandsworth Civic Centre:

On Thursday a selection of Year 2 children had the opportunity to meet and listen to author Alex Falase-Koya talk about his journey to becoming a writer. 

Alex shared fun stories about how he developed his characters and how his interests as a child have influenced the style of books he writes. 

The children had time to design their own superheroes and think creatively about what might power them. Alex came around gathering lots of their ideas - they may even make an appearance in one of his future stories. 

To end the session we got to ask Alex some questions and got a nice group photo. As we headed back to school, we stopped for a relaxing picnic in the park to end our lovely afternoon together.

Heavy and Light Feelings:

It is very common for children to feel like their emotions are not being understood or recognised. 

Therefore, it is crucial to discuss mental health and well-being topics with them regularly. By doing so, we can help our children learn how to express their feelings more clearly. 

This resource can be used at home to encourage discussions about emotions and how we can cope with them.
