'Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.' Galatians 6:9
We have had another fun packed week this Autumn term - dodging the showers as best we can!
It's been a bit of a dress up week because on Monday we had Jeans for Genes Day , which is always popular with the children and all for a great cause and yesterday was International Day, where we saw some spectacular national costumes and learned about so many different cultures and traditions. Thank you to Mrs Stewart and all the staff involved for organising such a stimulating day for everyone. See the photos in our fabulous picture gallery below.
Our newest pupils continue to come happily into school but we would like to make a plea to the EYFS parents in particular to please try to make your farewells swift and efficient at the gates so there is no blocking of the gate or backlog of children waiting to come in. Sending the children in timely and prepared goes a long way to helping develop their independence and allows them to settle quickly in these early days at St Michael's.
On Tuesday our lucky Year 5's are off to the National Gallery for the day and then on Wednesday morning some of our Year 6 pupils are taking the Wandsworth Test.
On Thursday there is an in-school Judaism Workshop for Years 1 and 2 and Year 5 are off to Saint Cecilia's for an Author's Visit.
Finally, we continue to hold Mrs Grant and her family in our thoughts and prayers.
Wishing you a great weekend ahead!
