“Let your light so shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16
As we journey through this Advent season, our school has been buzzing with festive energy and meaningful learning. This week, we started our Christmas celebrations with some of our youngest children beautifully retelling the Nativity story—a reminder of the hope and joy that Christmas brings.
Our children have also been exploring the gospel value of Compassion, reflecting on how we can care for and support one another during this season of giving. Next week, we will focus on Service, a value that is central to our new school vision and ethos. It has been a pleasure to see how our pupils are embodying these values, both in their classrooms and beyond.
The arts have been in full swing, with our Let’s Rock concerts and the spectacular Orchestra Showcase filling the school with music and creativity. Next week promises even more excitement as we approach the Christmas holidays:
Nursery Christmas Songs: Wednesday at 2:00 pm (parents are warmly invited to join in!)
Christmas Lunch: Thursday—a day filled with festive cheer, delicious food, and cracker-pulling fun!
PTA Christmas Fair: Friday—a highlight for our school community, with stalls, games, and a sprinkle of Christmas magic.
It has been so wonderful to see so many of you in school over the past week, supporting your children and celebrating their achievements. Your presence means so much to them—and to us—and we are deeply grateful for your continued support.
As we move into the penultimate week before the holidays, let’s continue to reflect on the light of Christmas and how we can bring joy, compassion, and service to those around us.
Wishing you all a peaceful and blessed week ahead,
Warmest regards,
Angela Harris
Headteacher
