Happy half term from the Library!
Our library has been buzzing with activity this half term and we hope the children have been enjoying their weekly class visits.
A very warm welcome to our new library volunteer, Ann, who joins us on Tuesday afternoons! Ann has much library experience and knowledge and has been busy helping us with various tasks in the library as well as reading a story or two to a very lucky Yr 2 class! Please do pop in and say hi to Ann on Tuesdays.
Coming up in our final half of term we will be setting up a summer display with a focus on the English summer in the sunshine and the great outdoors! Keep an eye out for bees and butterflies as we invite the children to get busy creating a gorgeous butterfly to add to our display!
As always a special thank you to our wonderful and hard working Junior Librarians who have been keeping the library looking tip top during their lunchtime slots! Keep an eye out for our Junior Librarians as they help to bring the library to the field at lunchtimes and set up a little pop-up library in the park complete with picnic blankets and cushions where the children can chill out under a tree and read a book!
All this and always so much more going on in the library, it really is the place to be!
