Author Visit for Years 3 -6:
We were thrilled to welcome author Philip Kavvadias for an exciting visit!
He captivated the children with his adventurous stories, sharing thrilling tales from his "Mission" series.
His enthusiasm for storytelling left the children inspired and eager to dive into their own creative writing. It was a wonderful experience that sparked imaginations and a love for reading!
His signed books are still available to purchase via Parentmail up to Sunday 23rd March at midnight.

Year 5 Visit to St Michael's Church:
Year 5 visited St Michael’s Church to explore what Jesus did during Lent and how this is lived out by Christians today. They reflected on Jesus' time in the wilderness, discussing its significance in teaching Christians about faith, sacrifice, and spiritual preparation. Linking this to their own lives, they considered what they might give up for Lent as an act of self-discipline and devotion.
They also took part in communion, learning how this sacred practice remembers Jesus’ sacrifice at the Last Supper and continues to unite the Christian community today.
By receiving communion, Christians today follow Jesus' command to "Do this in remembrance of me," keeping His presence at the heart of their worship.
