As we come to the end of another productive week, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful learning that has taken place.
This week, we explored the Gospel value of 'Creation', guiding the children to appreciate the beauty of God's world and their role as stewards of it. Throughout the worship sessions this week we have encouraged children to reflect on the words of the Bible:
'God saw all that he had made and it was very good' Genesis 1:31 .
The children have been actively learning about how we can care for God's creation and it has been a joy to hear and see their enthusiasm and thoughtful engagement.
In addition I had the pleasure of meeting with our Pupil Faith Group this week. Together, we looked at ways they can support the school's Christian distinctiveness and actively promote our Christian values each week. I look forward to seeing how they will continue to positively influence our school community through their faith-filled leadership.
A reminder that our Parents' Evenings will be taking place next week on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th October 2024. This is a valuable opportunity for us to discuss your child's progress, celebrate their achievements, and work together to support their continued growth.
Please ensure you have booked your time slot - if you need any assistance with this, do not hesitate to contact the school office.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you next week.
I would like to take this opportunity to extend a heartfelt thank you to Sheila Gough for her incredible dedication and leadership as Chair of the PTA. Her hard work and commitment have made a lasting difference in our school community. I am sure your final event as Chair this weekend will be a wonderful example of your ability to create something special and bring everyone together. As you hand over the reigns to Mr Thornton-Flowers we want to once again say thank you for all that you have done.
Wishing you all a restful and blessed weekend.
Warm regards,
Angela Harris
