This week the Chapter will focus more on the actual events of WWII and the Home Front. Remember my focus for you is to try and see what it would have been like to have loved through this time period as a soldier, civilian, or in other countries.
MONDAY 3/14--News sheets, Ch 17 Section 1 finished with look at propaganda (Dr. Suess and posters), give packet of Chapter 17 work. It will be due Wednesday or Thursday as completed
TUESDAY 3/15--News sheets, go over Section 2 in battles in Europe, pictures and clips along with slideshow. Guest speaker in 3rd hour. 4th period will work on packets and see film clips.
WEDNESDAY 3/16--News sheets, go over Section 2 and Section 3 the Pacific
THURSDAY 3/17--News sheets, Use of clips from Band of Brothers and DDay Saving Private Ryan , AIDS Unit info
FRIDAY 3/18--News sheets (due), debate over use of Atomic Bomb, AIDS Unit info, review for test on Monday.
