This week we will continue our chapters on Party Politics and Voting. I hope that you are enjoying the extra resources and information that you are seeing through these chapters. One of the best things you can take away from government class is learning how powerful voting can be for American citizens.
MONDAY 12/9-- DDOG do a current even reflection from Friday, and turn in the last two week's comments. Then start a new DDOG sheet with today's question. The next round of DDOG questions will be collected the Friday before break. Go over sections 2 and 3. Presidential campaign highlights from 2012. Project assignment on designing your own ideal party. Will be due 12/13.
TUESDAY 12/10--DDOG, Go over Chapter 6 Section 1 with highlight clips. Work time for designing your own party.
WEDNESDAY 12/11--DDOG, Go over Chapter 6 Section 2 and 3 with highlight clips.
THURSDAY 12/12--DDOG, Political Advertising examples of commercials. Political advertising assignment, create billboards.
FRIDAY 12/13--DDOG, Complete billboard assignment and turn in to basket. Finish political advertising and billboards. Both the billboard and political party assignment are due today.
Daily Dose of Government for the Week 12/9-12/13:
12/9--What three words would you use to describe our election process. Explain your choices.
12/10--Predict what influences people the most when they make a decision about who to vote for in elections? Why is that?
12/11--What is your favorite commercial? Is it possible to make commercials like that to grab the attention of voters to increase voter turnout?
12/12--Pick any person you would like to see run for office and explain why they would make a good choice to serve others.
