We will continue our unit on September 11 events and the role of government in a crisis. Please remember this is information that is not in the book, but often be used as examples when we discuss each of the branches. After that we will start our election and voting unit. I am looking forward to this because of the upcoming election. Also we will be using Daily News (new in 90 seconds from CBS this Morning) as our daily dose of government. I believe this will keep you more up to date on the workings of our country and government.

WEDNESDAY 9/2--DDOG, finish in more is left, articles on the 9/11 Memorial with discussion questions, concluding essay on the unit assigned, due Friday
THURSDAY 9/3--DDOG, Start reading Voting and Election Unit with assignment, Democrats and Republicans--whats the difference
FRIDAY 9/4--DDOG, Democrats and Republicans--whats the difference concluded with class oral "quiz"
