I love when news happens that goes along with subject matter. Last week Speaker of the House Boehner resigned his position effective in October. This was HUGE news! And we are getting ready to start studying Congress o maybe this will mean more to you when we go over the information. We will finish up election information Monday and Tuesday, but of course continue to follow it in the news.
MONDAY 9/28--DDOG-time to explain focus for 2nd grading period, Go over section on Ballots in Ch 10 and use video clip of voting, news (video on Boehner) and work time, Essay on Advertising Due and Ch 10 Work
TUESDAY 9/29--DDOG, finish discussing Ch 10 with Special Interests and Media, work time for pamphlets or read newspaper
WEDNESDAY 9/30--DDOG, start Ch 4 (Congress with reading and chart info-CREATE), Go over topic one in Ch 4
THURSDAY 10/1--DDOG, Pamphlets due, share information in groups on your candidate, Topic 2 in Ch 4 discussed w notes
FRIDAY 10/2--DDOG, look at the websites of your Congressmen in class
