This week we will finish our introduction to what makes government and active citizenship. After we test on Tuesday we will start looking at the history of our government being created in America and how it has evolved over the years. Remember that 2 and 3rd hours will have lessons with Mrs. Borden and may be different.
MONDAY 3/6--News sheet, finish Ch 1 with lesson on the duties and responsibilities of citizenship, watch The Preamble one last time, clip from 60 Minutes on Childhood poverty and having awareness of issues in our communities.
TUESDAY 3/7--News sheet, Ch 1 test and Preamble writing, brainstorm about Terre Haute resources for people in need and how to assist, start discussing the good and bad of Terre Haute along with engagement.
WEDNESDAY 3/8--News sheet, finish talking about strengths of TH, intro to history of US government, play Hamilton (You'll be Back),
THURSDAY 3/9--News sheet, lecture on the format, Scavenger Hunt on Constitution, continue with lecture on format of Constitution
FRIDAY 3/10--News sheet (COLLECT), prediction on the history of Amendments (sheet for students) with guided notes
