You are about to embark on a semester of learning how to understand what your American government does for you and how you can become a part of the system. Many of my seniors over the past have always been honest that they did not necessarily think they would be interested in this course, but when it was completed appreciated how the news, elections, and the leaders now make more sense to them. I look forward to a great trimester ahead as we will personally witness our President begin his second term and all that goes into leading the country along with our Congress. At the State level we will experience many changes as well that I am sure will lead to some great current event discussions. So get ready for a trimester filled with learning about the government, but also the events going on in our country and world today.
