Hope you all had a wonderful Spring Break and area ready to finish out the year strong. We will be learning about some incredible topics that people you know have lived through. I believe that is why you will really enjoy the last part of US 2 because you can actually talk to people who experienced what you will be studying.
MONDAY 4/1--Daily Work, Work Day--test corrections on Ch 17 test for half credit, Ch 18 vocabulary sheet that will be due when we take the Cold War test over Ch 18 and 19 (most likely next Wednesday)
TUESDAY 4/2--Daily Work, Intro to Ch 18 notes over events immediately following Cold War with Guided notes. These notes will be very important as there are questions to complete a long the way and they will be able to be a resource for the test. Visual Graffiti activity where students will be given pictures to study and on their own write about what they think they are seeing just through the images. We will then come together and share responses as we study the events of the Cold War through the notes. Hopefully we will make it through Section 1 ending with the Korean War today.
WEDNESDAY 4/3--Daily Work, Section 2 studying the Red Scare and McCarthyism by using Guided notes and Visual Graffiti
THURSDAY 4/4--Daily Work, Section 3-Life During the Cold War era under the leadership of Eisenhower with Guided notes and Visual Graffiti
FRIDAY 4/5--Daily Work, Ch 19 Guided notes handed out, students will be studying the cultural impact of the 1950s during the Cold War and how society was changing its values and ideas-Section 1 with clips from The Century used with questions
