Welcome to the US Government website. You may use the lessons and resources on this website as a guide to assisting your for the trimester. I try to stick to the schedule, but at times depending on the news for the day or discussions we may take more time on lessons. If you are absent or are trying to prepare for the days ahead this can serve as a guide to what we will be studying in class and upcoming exams or assignments. MONDAY 8/17-DDOG (explained and assigned), finish section 2 and 4 (no section 3) of Ch 1 with notes, Preamble studying.
TUESDAY 8/18--DDOG, Ch 1 test (Preamble for bonus today, must be done by tomorrow for credit). Assign Ch 2 to read after test, 60 Minutes story on Poverty
WEDNESDAY 8/19--DDOG, Constitution Scavenger hunt, start explain Ch 2 with notes-students will explain principles of government, Preamble quiz if not completed on Tuesday
THURSDAY 8/20--DDOG, Ch 2 with notes, current issue in government with discussion (Footloose in Arizona video), news if time allows--Drawing Bill of Rights
FRIDAY 8/1--DDOG, finish going over Ch 2 with notes, current issue in government with discussion (Eminent Domain), Test Monday for Ch 2
