Monday 1/7 -- Continue with Chapter 10, Section 3 and looking at the Senate. CNN student news, go over Section 3, see Senate website information on Coats and Donnelly, time to work on Section 4 and complete work sheets.
Tuesday 1/8 -- CNN student news, Finish information on Section 4 and the Senate. Do final worksheet of the packet together if time allows, review with study sheets.
Wednesday 1/9 -- Chapter 10 Test and WORKSHEET PACKET DUE. These are the final grades for the grading period. Make the mst of this test by preparing and studying the worksheets you completed and using the study guide questions. When done students will begin looking at Chapter 12 and then we will do a tour of Washington DC with pictures and powerpoints. CNN student news if time allows.
Thursday 1/10 -- Begin Chapter 12 (Powers of Congress) with provided worksheet packets. Chapter 12 is a very fast chapter that we move through quickly. The quiz/test over the chapter will be 1/15.
Friday 1/11 -- Go over Sections 1 and 2 in Chapter 12, current events with CNN student news if time allows. Facts of Congress clips shown to help check for understanding.
