A big welcome back from our break. We are off to a new year and new start in so many ways. We will be ending the 3rd grading period in about a week. Be sure to come back with a renewed energy about learning and your work in class. on Wednesday I will be giving your grades in progress to you, and this will be your chance to communicate if you have missing your work grades. This will be important as I turn in grades next week. I am excited about the topics we will get to study over the the rest of our time together. We will first start with the Progressive Era. This si an important time period that still has an impact on our society and country today.

WEDNESDAY 1/4 (B Schedule)--News sheet, handout notes (fill in the blank), Section 1, full CBS News if time allows
THURSDAY 1/5--News sheet, Section 2 with notes, suffrage movement with clips from Iron Jawed Angels, poster assignment explained
FRIDAY 1/6--News sheet (collect), time to work on posters, finish information on suffrage movement
