We will continue our study of the voting process as we start looking at political parties and public opinion. This is a big week with lots of important lessons to be learned.
MONDAY 9/2--Labor Day--No SCHOOL
TUESDAY 9/3--Daily ?, clip on Delores Huertas and unions, clips on the voting process, guided notes and information on Political Parties and spectrum--a look at issues and the political platforms of the parties (fill in spectrum for your knowledge and test)
WEDNESDAY 9/4--Daily ?, finish Political Parties with conclusion PP and group quiz as a class, finish notes on Ch 10 and public opinion with demographics
THURSDAY 9/5--Daily ?, Living Room Candidate assignment to be done in class as we watch and analyze influential campaign commercials over the years
FRIDAY 9/6--Daily ?--collect, finish Living Room Candidate work with commercials and assignment, DUE at the end of class or MONDAY, Test on Tuesday with review MONDAY
