Due to your interest in the topics we discussed we got a little off track from last week, but I loved it! You kept asking questions and dug deeper into the topics we discussed. I am confident you will continue to do the same this week. Remember this is the last week for grades, and I am very proud of how many of you have brought up your grades since last grading period.
MONDAY 5/26--MEMORIAL DAY, hope you took time to remember why we honor this special day.
TUESDAY 5/27--Finish discussing Section 2/3 and completing worksheets. They will be collected first thing on Wednesday. Conclude with the rest of The Story of US and ties to where we are today in history.
WEDNESDAY 5/28--Begin looking at Ch 21 with use of Guided Reading worksheets. Go over section 1 today and begin looking at The Century 70s. Today you will finally learn what Watergate is and how it still impacts many views about government today. Letter writing assignment given. Due Friday 5/30.
THURSDAY 5/29--Look at Sections 2 and 3 Ch 21 Guided Reading, finish The Century.
FRIDAY 5/30--Letters due. Finish discussing Guided Reading Ch 21 and collect. If time allows Music of the Decades Name that Tune.
