I will be sharing your grades for the 1st grading period with you this week. A few of you may have more involved discussions and contacts home about how to make sure you earn your government credit. I will also be calling home on students who have done an exceptional job so far this trimester. Your hard work and effort are noticed and appreciated. Remember this week we are studying Congress and how your will be hearing a lot about Congress in the news this week as we face a potential government shut down. Also a reminder that are guests from Indiana State University will begin participating in 1st and 2nd periods with us during the month of October. It will be a great experience for all that are involved in their visit.
MONDAY 9/30--DDOG, CNN student news. Go over rest of section 1 and begin section 2.
TUESDAY 10/1--DDOG, Film on Women in Congress with worksheet, have rest of worksheets completed
WEDNESDAY 10/2--DDOG, CNN student news, go over rest of section 2 with showing of Congressional website and begin section 3
THURSDAY 10/3--DDOG, CNN student news, finish up section 3. Reviews questions for Ch 10 test with class.
FRIDAY 10/4--DDOG, CNN student news, Chapter 10 test

10/2--What are the qualities you want to see in people who represent you in offices like Congress? Why are those qualities important?
