This week will wrap up our discussion of poverty by looking at the packet that was given on Friday. From there we will move on to education since so many experts believe that education can be the key to get out of poverty. With this study we will look at out some students do not have the same access to resources as others, especially in larger cities. We will watch the somewhat controversial documentary that drew a lot of the country's attention on the state of education across the country, Waiting for Superman. Indiana has experienced some drastic changes in education over the last 10 years and we will discuss what some of the laws and terms you hear often are all about for you as a student and citizen.
