Last week you learned the basics about Congress and this week you will learn how they work as a group and within their parties. You will see the process of how an idea or bill becomes a lawIn addition to that you will get to go to the computer lab on Tuesday to work on a letter writing project. It is important to learn how to communicate with your leaders to share your concerns and voices.
Monday 9/8--DDOG, Ch 10 Test, begin reading Ch 12 and completing handouts.
Tuesday 9/9--DDOG, Letter writing assignment given with computer lab. That project or assignment will be due Monday 9/15
Wednesday 9/10--DDOG, Begin with lecture over section 1, allow time to finish Ch 12 handouts, news if time allows
Thursday 9/11--DDOG, Story of 9/11 Survivor, How A Bill Becomes a Law, Work time for handouts or letters
Friday 9/12--DDOG, Computer Lab to finish Letter project that is due Monday.

Thursday 9/11--What types of things should Americans do to remember those whose lives were impacted by 9/11?
