This Friday marks the end of the grading period which means we will have only one more grading period this year! The outstanding news is that some of your favorite topics will be in this last grading period. I am confident that you will enjoy it and really get a lot out of what we study. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let's get through this final week and the 1950s.
MONDAY 4/8--Daily Work, students will be taking a look at the culture and society in America during the 1950s. We will look at the pictures, Powerpoint and notes on this chapter. Today will look at the policies that changed society and the Presidents that impacted the era. Some samples of Bomb Shelter tools and accessories today and tomorrow.
TUESDAY 4/9--Daily Work, Section 2 information, we will listen to some samples of Rock and Roll and see commercials from the era, worksheets provided on Section 3 and for reviewing the chapter
WEDNESDAY 4/10--Daily Work, Section 3 information, time for worksheets and vocabulary, review for test on THURSDAY with Kahoot
THURSDAY 4/11--Daily Work (collect), Test over the 1950s, after test start vocabulary on Chapter 20
FRIDAY 4/12--Daily Work, Work time for Vocabulary, 2nd hour will have assembly, CNN The Sixties Nation on the Brink, look at timelines of chapters
