Can you believe we are in 2016? And we will be very busy for the rest of the trimester as we finish the Progressive movement, look at build up to and including WWI, the Roaring 20s and the Great Depression. I think many of you will become more interested in the topics that we will be addressing in this portion of US1. We have a lot to cover and will move quickly so be sure to read outside of class and attend everyday for the information we go over in class. Your classes will also be welcoming Mrs. Brittanee Clark as your student teacher. She will begin working with you as of Thursday with WWI. I look forward to all that she will be doing with you.
MONDAY 1/4--News sheets with Year in Review and the current news, finish the Progressives by looking at President Theodore Roosevelt and President Woodrow Wilson in notes and reading clip from The Jungle by Upton Sinclair. Prepare for scheduling tomorrow.
TUESDAY 1/5--News (still write them down), You will be scheduling for your senior year! There will be work for you to do in class when you return from guidance.
WEDNESDAY 1/6--News with sheets, Imperialism Summary with guided reading provided and crossword collected for the chapter.
THURSDAY 1/7--News with sheets, Mrs. Clark begins with lessons on WWI Chapter.
FRIDAY 1/8--News with sheets (collect), Mrs. Clark continued.
