Welcome back from Thanksgiving! We were so rushed with the end of the 9/11 information but there are just a few more things that I want to share with you. So we will start with that and a brief writing assignment over your thoughts. Then we will begin our lessons on voting and the election process which covers information from Chapters 5 and 6. This unit will take more time and it is important to try and be here everyday. While there is information in the book and power points I will be sharing some examples in class that should be of assistance. We will also work on a project that is new and I think you will enjoy.

Allow class reading time to look at content words and objectives for sections 1 and 3. CNN student news if time allows.
