This week is the start of the second grading period. Remember that while your first 6 weeks grade is important you still have 60% of your final grade to impact with the 2nd grading period and your final exam. The second grading period will bring some high interest topics of the Presidency and the Court system into our classes. I continue to encourage you to watch, listen or read the news any chance you get. We have a new Congress and a second term of a presidency beginning. We will hear about legislative updates, the Innauguration, the State of the Union, and more. The more you can see how government impacts your daily life, the more you will learn from it in class.
