This week we wrap up our work with the Presidency and the Federal government with a quiz on Monday. Do not forget to tune in to the last Presidential debate on television Monday night with the theme or topic being foreign policy. We may to watch some of the second debate or highlights of the two on Tuesday, but will not have time to watch the entire debates. On Wednesday we will start studying the third and final branch of government--the Judicial Branch. As a class we will begin with taking a look at a case in Indiana where someone was sentenced to lethal injection and all the steps of the justice system a long the way. Chapters 18 and 19 will be the main two book resources we will use, but we will also have many outside resources that I will share in class with you. My students always seem fascinated by the court system and it is a great way to wrap up our trimester together.
If you owe ANY tests we will make them up TUESDAY during class. If you do not make them up at this time it is your responsibilty to make them up before or after school with me. I have the list posted on the board with your grades.
NOTE: Remember that first hour will have its quiz/test on Tuesday with Mrs. Ragan and we will all be on the same lesson starting Wednesday.
