MONDAY 10/21--I will be gone today so you will spend time reading the rest of Chapter 13 on the President along with guided reading questions. Be prepared to go over roles of presidents (or the hats they wear on Tuesday). Also the second half of class you will have materials out to work on your presidential mini posters. Use your time and know that there will be major deductions on projects that are not turned in on time.
TUESDAY 10/22--Go over Section on Chapter 13 with presidential roles and perks of being the leader of our country. When we are done with the lecture we will take a closer look at presidential life by watching a National Geographic film on the Presidential Photographer. There will be a writing assignment with the film.
WEDNESDAY 10/23--Continue Presidential Photographer with assignment. If time allows work time on project. Writing due Thursday.
THURSDAY 10/24--Go over sections 2 and 3 with class. Work time for writing assignment or project.
FRIDAY 10/25--SHARING OF PRESIDENTIAL PROJECTS they are due today, we will share our projects in a group format and write facts about each of the presidents. I will collect these facts and we will discuss some of our favorites.
I will post midterm grades on Tuesday. Be sure to work on completing every assignment and prepare for tests. We only have a few more weeks together!
